In 2019, DIHAN (Does It Have A Name) formed as a group dedicated to sharing, discussing, and exchanging resources on performance art in a broader sense. Over the years DIHAN evolved to take a facilitating role, creating a venue for local artists to present their performance works over the course of an evening at Berger en De Vries bookstore. Today, DIHAN is is run and maintained by an interchanging group of volunteers; autonomous artists who live and work in Groningen. Working within the fringes of DIY, DIHAN nurtures an experimental attitude to provide emerging artists an opportunity to try out new actions and further their artistic research; somatic, conceptual, text-focused, material, or otherwise.
